What happened previously …
Since the 2017/2018 winter season, the underground railway of Serfaus has been under construction – and the result has paid off! Since the summer of 2019, the railway has been shining in new splendour. All stops were renovated and made wheelchair-accessible and pushchair-friendly. The carriages were also replaced by new, more modern, air-conditioned trains.
With a total length of 1,280 metres, the Dorfbahn in Serfaus transports up to 3,000 people per hour, swiftly getting guests to the valley stations of the local cable cars. The underground railway stops at the four stations “Parkplatz”, “Kirche”, “Zentrum” and “Seilbahn”.
Good to know: ”Kirche” is the nearest stop to Leading Family Hotels Löwe & Bär.

For more than 30 years, the Dorfbahn has been contributing to the traffic calming of the village of Serfaus. Thanks to the reconstruction and modernisation of the underground railway, it continues to add to unique holiday experiences.
